A suspended lay-in tile ceiling features main runners spaced at forty-eight inches on center. The ceiling grid is supported by number twelve gauge vertical hanger wires extending to the underside of the structure above. Each wire connection incorporates a minimum of three tight turns within a three-inch vertical span.
