A concrete tilt-up wall with a recessed edge bears above a hollow metal or aluminum window head frame. Shims are installed as required with sealant over a backer rod on each side of the joint. Sealant is applied to seal the exterior gap against moisture infiltration. A vertical dimension indicates nine feet to finished floor.
