An interior metal stud partition wall abuts a concrete wall with a one-half-inch air space. At the ceiling level, a continuous eighteen-gauge clip secures the top track using number six sheet metal screws at twenty-four inches on center, fastened to the wall with shot pins at twenty-four inches on center. Five-eighths-inch gypsum board extends twelve inches above the finished ceiling, which is set per the finish schedule. R-thirteen batt insulation continues up to the deck. At the floor level, a continuous metal channel runner anchors to the concrete floor slab using point-one-seventy-seven-inch power-driven anchors at twenty-four inches on center per ESR number sixteen sixty-three. The wall assembly consists of three-and-a-half-inch twenty-gauge metal studs at sixteen inches on center with R-thirteen batt insulation and five-eighths-inch gypsum board. A base per the finish schedule meets the finished flooring with sealant at the joint.
