An aluminum door frame is anchored against a concrete wall opening, secured with a continuous sealant bead at the exterior and interior interfaces. The frame receives an insulated glass unit and a door panel, finished with caulking and paint at the wall connection. Flashing and caulking are required along the junction to maintain a complete weather seal.
