An ADA compliant room identification sign assembly consists of a three-eighths inch thick matte acrylic background panel with permanent two-inch high raised text and integrated Braille characters located below the main character. A three-and-one-half-inch horizontal dimension establishes the spacing for the sign layout. The tactile characters and Braille dots are applied directly to the face of the acrylic background.
