A TPO roofing membrane is installed over rigid insulation and a steel roof deck or sheathing, which is supported by a metal roof joist bearing on the exterior wall. A reinforced membrane strip is secured with fasteners and fastening plates per the manufacturer's instructions. Cut edge sealant is applied along the membrane termination. Bonding adhesive adheres the vertical flashing leg to the exterior wall, and the membrane is creased at the angle change to limit bridging to a maximum of three-quarters of an inch.
