An interior door sill assembly details the threshold and floor finish transitions at a door opening. A marble threshold, measuring one-half inch thick by the frame width, is set on a bond coat where different flooring materials meet at the center line of the door. Adjacent flooring materials include carpet, vinyl tile, sheet vinyl, and tiles, separated by a one-quarter inch expansion joint. The door features a three-quarter inch undercut except at fire-rated doors and as otherwise noted.
