A double metal stud partition meets a precast concrete wall at a door jamb interface. The cavity is filled with sound attenuation insulation, and layers of 12.5mm gypsum wallboard finish the partition faces. The door frame is filled solid with grout and sealed at the perimeter with sealant joints on each side. Wood blocking is provided at the precast concrete connection, and the frame is packed with STC 50 sound attenuation insulation.
