Required level maneuvering clearances at interior and exterior doors must comply with accessibility standards for approach dimensions. The push side requires a minimum 4'-0" dimension plus an additional 12" clearance when the door is equipped with both a latch and a closer. The pull side requires a minimum 5'-0" dimension with specific latch-side clearances of 2'-0" minimum at exterior doors and 1'-6" minimum at interior doors. A clear opening width of 32 inches minimum is maintained.
