A tile to base flashing transition at a roof edge backed by cold-formed metal stud framing and a one-half-inch Dens Deck Prime substrate. A self-adhered flashing strip provides primary weatherproofing over the substrate, overlaid by exterior tile mounted on Tyvek commercial wrap. A factory-bonded tile filler integrates into the joint assembly along with a two and seven-eighths-inch dimensioned gap sealed by backer rod and joint sealant. A roof membrane base flashing extends vertically over the substrate to complete the waterproof envelope at the roof-wall intersection.
