A two-piece expansion joint is fastened to cold-formed metal framing within a Portland cement plaster wall assembly. The exterior water-resistive barrier consists of building paper installed over a drainage composite and self-adhered membrane flashing. Additional self-adhered flashing covers an inverted flashing strip located at the sheathing joint.
