A painted hollow metal frame connects to a cold-formed steel stud partition finished with five-eighths inch gypsum board. The door frame is secured using adjustable jamb anchors tied into the metal framing. A continuous bead of sealant is applied to both sides of the frame where it meets the gypsum board return. High impact doors may occur at this opening as designated on the door schedule.
