A one and one-half inch nominal steel pipe guardrail stands three feet and six inches high above the finished concrete surface. The guardrail post is set into a galvanized metal sleeve that extends two inches above the surface height and eight inches below the finish surface into the concrete. The sleeve is secured with epoxy. A concrete curb and retaining wall specified per structural requirements features eased corners.
