An aluminum door threshold bears upon the finish floor slab adjacent to an expansion filler and a self-adhered sheet membrane extending down eighteen inches from the top of the slab. Stainless steel flashing is set in compatible sealant over the sheet membrane. An aluminum curtain wall system and aluminum door frame tie into the assembly, with the door flange at the jamb integrated into adjacent flashing with lapped and sealed joints.
