Mechanical equipment mounts to a steel equipment support with a pitched base coordinated with the roof slope over a sloped cross-laminated timber deck. The assembly features a continuous air and vapor barrier beneath the curb, a roof membrane over a cover board, and batt insulation filling the interior of the curb. A wood nailer tops the curb, wrapped with the air and vapor barrier terminated by a termination bar and sealant, and secured with cap seal fasteners. Removable counterflashing protects the joint and extends down over the roof membrane.
