An aluminum grab bar measuring one and one-quarter inch minimum to two inches maximum in diameter mounts to a framed wall assembly with fasteners. A one and one-half inch clearance is maintained between the grab bar and the wall face. Accessory dispenser fixtures are positioned above and below the grab bar. The space between the grab bar and projecting objects above measures twelve inches minimum, while the space between the grab bar and projecting objects below and at the ends measures one and one-half inches minimum. Grab bars shall conform to California Building Code Section 11B-609.
