A six-foot nine-inch long concrete-filled steel pipe is anchored with a one-quarter-inch thick square plate welded to the pipe bottom inside a forty-two-inch deep concrete footing. The top of the concrete inside the pipe is sloped, and the entire bollard is painted safety yellow. Exterior paving or concrete is specified at two inches above finished grade with a one-half-inch radius tooled edge. A sizing schedule provides pipe diameters of four, six, or eight inches matched with corresponding footing diameters of eighteen, twenty-four, or thirty inches and square plate dimensions of six, eight, or ten inches.
