Elevator door jambs feature two-inch high raised numbers with corresponding braille placed on each side as required by California Building Code. A Star of Life sign is mounted on both door jambs of building elevator A only, aligned with the hall lantern and call buttons. The hall lantern is positioned at a minimum of six feet above the finished floor, with three-quarter-inch minimum diameter illuminated call buttons mounted below. The vertical location of the non-contact door reopening device is centered at five inches above the finished floor. The elevator car interior requires a minimum forty-two-inch clear door opening width with fifty-one-inch minimum clearance to the door and fifty-four-inch minimum depth.
