The assembly consists of a four-inch diameter steel pipe, four feet long, filled with concrete and finished with a rounded concrete top. The pipe is painted safety yellow. It is welded to an eight-inch by eight-inch by one-half-inch steel base plate. This plate is secured to the existing interior concrete floor slab using four one-half-inch diameter by six-inch long expansion anchors, positioned with one and one-half inch edge clearances.
