Stair tread nosing geometry specifies a maximum one-and-one-half-inch nosing projection. A warning strip is positioned on the leading two inches of the tread surface. The edge of the tread features a maximum one-half-inch radius. The underside of the tread nosing maintains a slope with a maximum angle of thirty degrees.
