A continuous track is anchored to the concrete slab using point-driven shot pins at sixteen inches on center. Back-to-back metal studs fastened with number eight screws at twelve inches on center form the opening jamb, requiring a closure stud. A built-up header spans the opening, secured at the ends with three number eight screws. The top track attaches to the stud flanges at each flange using number eight screws. Metal stud wall size and spacing follow the schedule and sections.
