A lead flashing sleeve seals a tube steel equipment screen support leg penetrating a built-up wood deck roof system. The lead flange embeds in roof cement set over installed interply felts, finished with a white acrylic coating over roof cement and two plies of fiberglass felt stripping mopped in hot asphalt. Tapered edge strips or wood strips with beveled edges create a smooth transition at the base. A stainless steel screw clamp and urethane sealant seal the top of the sleeve against the pipe penetration, which extends at least eight inches above the roof surface.
