A ramp transition incorporates a required detectable warning area within the path of travel. The ramp slope is one to twelve. The landing area maintains a minimum width of four feet. A detectable warning surface is installed at the transition point. Refer to American Public Works Association plan number two hundred thirty-five for additional standards and specifications.
