A two-hour shaft wall assembly terminates at a concrete slab edge with continuous angled galvanized sheet metal framing the perimeter. Powder-driven fasteners anchor the assembly to the concrete slab. A continuous two-hour fire sealant fills the joint at the edge of the slab.
