A twenty-two gauge Kynar pre-finished galvanized steel collector head mounts beneath a panel opening at the roof edge. The assembly is secured using a four-inch high by three-sixteenth-inch thick galvanized steel bent plate, powder-coated to match the conductor head, set upon a quarter-inch neoprene pad and anchored with half-inch by two-and-three-quarter-inch wedge anchors with stainless steel washers. A one-and-a-half-inch wood blocking supports the upper transition, featuring a one-and-a-half-inch by one-and-a-half-inch bird screen and a three-inch leg attached with stainless steel fasteners at sixteen inches on center. A twenty-four gauge Kynar finished galvanized downspout extends downward from the collector head with stiffeners provided as required.
