This control joint detail consists of a concrete slab with a saw cut filled with one hundred percent solids epoxy filler directly beneath the joint. A pair of one-eighth-inch brush-finished zinc divider strips are positioned on typical both sides, creating a zero-foot quarter-inch wide gap. An elastomeric joint filler is installed between the metal strips. The surrounding flooring consists of three-eighth-inch terrazzo finished flush with the top of the zinc strips.
