A continuous two-inch-wide neoprene filler sits atop the metal stud partition directly beneath the ceiling grid suspension system. Casing beads terminate the gypsum board on each side of the partition with a one-eighth-inch clearance gap. The partition connects to the ceiling construction via a suspended grid intersection.
