Six-inch cold-formed metal stud framing provides the structural core of the partition with stud spacing coordinated per structural drawings. Sound attenuation batt insulation fills the cavity between studs to improve acoustic performance. Five-eighth-inch metal resilient channels attach horizontally to one side of the framing to decouple the finish layer. Five-eighth-inch gypsum wall board faces both sides of the assembly, with interior finishes applied per schedule.
