A structural steel column is concealed by a powder-coated column cover that transitions to a solid surface communal table element at a height of 2 feet 8 inches above the finished floor. The table surface features a solid surface material extending outward with a profiled edge detail. The base of the column assembly incorporates a 3/8-inch thick terrazzo base with a chamfered edge and associated terrazzo divider strips. Above the table height, the column cover extends upward with a moss finish mounted on a 1/2-inch plywood backing.
