A scheduled tile finish is adhered over a one-quarter-inch thinset mortar bed and a five-eighths-inch cementitious backer unit attached to a scheduled partition. A crack suppression or waterproofing membrane is applied beneath the scheduled floor finish and thinset mortar bed at the floor slab. A metal cove transition profile with a black finish and three-eighths-inch radius is installed at the intersection between the wall tile and floor finish. A concrete curb occurs at the base where specified per slab plans.
