A steel stud system with five-eighths inch DensGlass and gypsum board terminates adjacent to a cast-in-place concrete wall of a neighboring building with a four-inch gap. Fire caulking or acoustical sealant is applied on both sides of the wall at the steel stud system. Galvanized sheet metal flashing is secured to adjacent surfaces across the joint.
