An elastomeric pipe boot flashing membrane wraps around a round or square roof penetration and is secured at the top with a stainless steel pipe clamp over a bead of sealant. The bottom of the flashing membrane extends onto the roof assembly with a minimum flash height of eight inches as required by the manufacturer. Compatible fasteners spaced at six inches on center anchor the base flange to the roof deck, and a hot-air welded base flashing integrates the assembly with the surrounding roofing system. Additional sealant is applied at the pipe penetration interface and along the perimeter edge.
