An acoustic ceiling tile system terminates against a vertical gypsum board soffit framed with three and five-eighths inch metal studs spaced at sixteen inches on center. The gypsum board is taped and finished with typical metal edges, utilizing a plastic corner bead in lieu of metal at similar conditions. The bottom of the gypsum board and the bottom of the acoustic ceiling tile are positioned relative to the reflected ceiling plan. A four-inch vertical dimension separates the ceiling levels.
