Jamb condition for a steel sectional door with a protective steel guard. A three-eighths-inch bent plate jamb guard extends up to four feet and is secured with one-half-inch diameter wedge anchors spaced at twenty-four inches on center. The guard is finished with two coats of safety yellow gloss enamel paint provided by the steel fabricator. An insulated three-inch heavy-duty steel track supports the sectional door, positioned with a dead bolt latch located six inches above the top of the jamb guard. Weather seal is applied all around the perimeter to maintain weather-tightness.
