An elevator shaft partition wall abuts a 152-millimeter steel stud framing assembly with a pressed steel frame. A 64x64 sheet metal angle provides connection support with shims as required for alignment. Acoustical insulation fills the stud cavity to reduce sound transmission across the partition boundary.
