Half-inch thick tempered glass is set into a continuous one-and-a-quarter by one-and-a-quarter by one-eighth-inch glazing channel embedded within a concrete floor slab. The glass rests upon setting blocks inside the channel and is secured with backer rods and black silicone sealant on both sides. The channel is leveled with shims and anchored into the concrete slab using a non-metallic, non-shrink grout infill around the perimeter.
