A 1 1/2-inch square tube barrier rail mounts above a steel stringer with a closure plate. A 1 1/2-inch outside diameter pipe handrail terminates directly into the guardrail assembly. Additional 1 1/4-inch nominal standard steel pipe rails are positioned per plan. Dimensions include a 2-foot 3-inch height clearance and 2-inch spacing increments.
