A one or two hour rated CMU assembly constructed with 12-inch or 14-inch ground face concrete masonry units featuring an integral color finish. An exterior air and water barrier is applied behind a continuous layer of R-10 rigid insulation, included when required by the authority having jurisdiction. The interior side receives 5/8-inch gypsum board, specified as water-resistant at wet walls and carried up to the structure above. The wall assembly complies with UL Design U906 requirements.
