This assembly details a commercial roof drain installation set over roof sheathing and structural supports. Rigid insulation and tapered rigid insulation form a drain sump with a maximum slope of three inches per one horizontal foot. A reinforced waterproofing membrane ties continuously into the drain flange, sealed with manufacturer-approved sealant. The roof drain unit is mechanically fastened through the assembly per the manufacturer specifications.
