A two-by-eight number two Southern Pine pressure-treated wall buck is secured to a wood stud or blocked stud wall by others. A three-eighths-inch by five-inch lag screw with a zinc-plated flat washer, measuring zero-point-four-four-inch inside diameter by one-inch outside diameter by zero-point-zero-eight-three-inch thick, fastens the buck through a three-quarter-inch nominal wall board thickness.
