An eight-foot-tall chain link fence assembly features two-inch by nine-gauge chain link mesh stretched between vertical posts embedded in concrete footings. A top rail is installed with rail ends at the bottom typically, and tension bars with tension bands secure the fabric at the post intersections. Three strands of barbed wire are mounted on top extensions above the main fence fabric. Supports and spacing are installed per the manufacturer's recommendation. All chain-link fencing is to be galvanized.
