A prefabricated roof curb mounts over a roof assembly comprising rigid insulation, a vapor barrier, and a cover board topped by the roof membrane. The roof membrane flashing extends up and over the curb with a six-inch minimum clearance. A non-combustible cold-formed metal stud nailer backs the curb assembly, which accommodates a self-flashing rooftop equipment unit.
