An intermediate stair landing assembly is supported by a steel hanger rod and a 1 inch by 1 inch by 20 gauge support angle referenced to the stair plan layout. Continuous 12 gauge metal straps and continuous 20 gauge 6-inch metal straps tie the partition framing into the assembly. Sealant and backer rod are detailed at the joints between the stair landing edge and the surrounding partitions.
