An elevator hoistway non-rated separator barrier partition type "2J2" connects above and below a structural steel separator beam. The shaftwall metal "J" runner tracks attach to the steel beam with minimum one-eighth-inch powder-actuated fasteners spaced at twenty-four inches on center with one-half-inch embedment.
