An aluminum offset storefront frame rests on a concrete substrate with typical plastic shims providing level support beneath the base. Fasteners secure the frame through the sill, with sealant applied at each fastener location to prevent water infiltration. The exterior concrete edge features a one-quarter inch radius tooled edge, transitioning to the exterior finish where it occurs. Sealant and a backer rod are applied at the joint interface.
