An elevator door header and ceiling interface assembly coordinates the architectural finishes with the structural shaft wall and elevator equipment. A scheduled partition type serves as the backing wall, featuring an additional layer of one-inch shaft liner at the header. A continuous J-runner channel supports a liner panel above the stainless steel header termination post. The stainless steel elevator door jamb and cab interface are provided directly by the elevator manufacturer.
