A downspout nozzle penetrates a framed stud wall and discharges water away from the exterior facade. The nozzle is set in a continuous bead of sealant at the exterior wall finish. A bronze bird screen slips directly into the nozzle opening to prevent debris and pests from entering the drainage system.
