The primary roof drain is installed through the metal roof deck with a slope of one to twelve. A self-adhering vapor retarder is applied directly to the deck surface, topped by a fully adhered single-ply roof membrane. The roof membrane is clamped into the drain body with a water block and trimmed to within one inch of the clamping ring. The drain assembly is secured to the metal roof deck using a deck clamp and nuts tightened from the underside.
