The concrete slab is floated to achieve the required finish alignments for dissimilar floor finishes. A stainless steel Schluter Vinpro-U transition anchor is secured to the concrete substrate and sealed for water resistance. Resinous flooring meets one side of the transition while carpet tile or a walk-off mat abuts the other side.
