Bent bar anchor bolts require a hook featuring a ninety-degree bend with an inside diameter equal to three times the bolt diameter. The free end includes a straight extension measuring one and one-half times the bolt diameter beyond the bend. A threaded end with a nut and washer is provided on the opposite side.
NOTE: BENT BAR ANCHOR BOLTS SHALL HAVE A HOOK WITH A 90º BEND WITH AN INSIDE DIAMETER OF THREE BOLT DIAMETERS, PLUS AN EXTENSION OF ONE AND ONE HALF BOLT DIAMETERS AT THE FREE END. 1.1/2 db 3 db
